Date Night.

Cafe Lalo

Last week when Dan's mom was here, she volunteered to stay with Miles while we stepped out for a quick date night. We decided to stay close to home and do dessert in our neighborhood at the always magical Cafe Lalo (a place of recognition for all you You've Got Mail fans out there!). It was so lovely to trade in the spit-up stained t-shirt and yoga pants for normal, 'going out' clothes and step out on the town for some quality time together.

I've only ever done brunch or coffee there so this was my first cake experience with Lalo and Oh. My. Goodness. The german chocolate cake was ridiculous. SO GOOD.
