~Off-Broadway show: officially underway! Auditions wrapped up and I was offered a part last week (YES a PART! not just "ensemble" or understudy but a *real* role!!)...ahh! Details about the show can be found here.
~bed bugs: still running (ruining) my life. I'm back at my apartment, finally, but still living out of plastic bags until the exterminators come again next week for re-treatment. Don't ever get bed bugs.
~running: not happening, sadly. We were doing so well those first two weeks, but now....no time. no energy. same old, same old.
~NYC weather: H-O-T. Spring? Hello?
~my hair: I (accidentally) dyed it way too dark red on Friday night. Oops. Not sure how I feel about it, but it's a whole new me.
~wedding plans: rolling along! Honeymoon booked (hello, Hawaii!), website finished, registry nearly complete, dress fittings on the calendar, etc., etc....I think(?) we are in pretty good shape. :)
And that about covers life right now. Rehearsals start this week and will pretty much run my life between now and the opening of the show, but I will jump on here whenever I can!

where the heck have i been?
a) in over my head with this class
b) in over my head with auditions for this upcoming show
c) attempting to plan a wedding
d) entertaining out of town guests
e) gigging
f) working my butt off at the Day Job, which has been unusually (and annoyingly) busy, leaving very little time for my favorite pastimes: emailing, blogging and catching up on Life
g) dealing with REALLY fun NYC annoyances such as unending rain storms and bed bug infestations at my apartment -- which, FYI, is an absolute nightmare to deal with. yay.
h) all of the above
*if you chose (h), then you chose correctly. with that said, please pray for me. that's all. i just need prayers. and more sleep. and maybe a vacation or two.
