Oh how I've missed date nights in NYC! Date nights in Boston didn't feel nearly as magical for some reason (sorry, Boston). Tonight we enjoyed a stroll along High Line Park (just like the old days!) before a ginormous storm swept through, causing us to quickly take cover in a nearby restaurant. Luckily that restaurant was perfectly magical and cozy, complete with twinkle lights and a convenient retractable roof to keep us nice and dry (while still feeling like we were dining outdoors).
We are trying to get as many date nights in as possible before the baby comes...which is looking like will happen sooner rather than later! There's a whole long update to fill you in on with that, but (cliffhanger) I don't think I have it in me to relay the whole story tonight. So more on that later! In the meantime, have a lovely weekend.

One of my oldest and dearest friends lives in Boston. She spied a Facebook post of mine musing how I want to visit NYC this Christmas, and asked "NYC again?! Come to Boston, lady!" I don't have the heart to tell her (who doesn't have children) that if I can orchestrate babysitting and money for a weekend getaway, it will *always* be in NYC...
Amen! Glad someone else understands :) Blogspot has a new feature (well, new to me, maybe I've just been oblivious!) that allows you to see all comments and I only now am seeing all of yours! Glad you found me, and thanks for the comments, bebe :)
